So who are we?

Behind the Logo

We are an established education business that has been providing tutoring services over the internet since 2007. We are behind the ever popular Beanbag Learning tutor search website, and the Infocow social network with our friends at Futurelab.

On the inspiration for Tutorhub, Kevin Gibson - our founder and a parent said:

Getting help when you really need it is the reason why we set up Tutorhub. It's at homework time that help is most needed, and we wanted to create a place where kids could help each other, or connect with a tutor. Instead of tutoring being restricted to set hours, putting help online at the teachable moment.

And Jon Ellis, co-founder and a parent, said:

With Tutorhub a student can be studying with an English teacher one minute and tackling quadratic equations with a Maths expert the next - this kind of support isn't available through regular home tutoring

Online tuition is not new. But what makes Tutorhub different is our focus on parents' concerns about safety and quality of tuition, and making the online tutoring experience fun for kids. It's about finding the right tutor at the right time, with confidence.
