You should start by considering (and on a practical note, listing) the different types of transformation that occur in the play (physical, emotional, status, etc.), and who is responsible for bringing them about: for example, Bottom has no control over his physical transformation into a donkey, and nor does Demetrius have control over his transformation to loving Helena, but the actors have control over their transformation into the characters in 'Pyramus and Thisbe'... Consider what this suggests about the control we have over our own destinies, and the destinies of others...

Im preparing a controlled assessment and I have to compare Macbeth with 2 other poets. I've chosen Education for leisure by Carol Ann Duffy and Porphyria's Lover by Robert Browning.
