That question probably needs a whole essay to answer - is there any word limit? Has the teacher suggested or provided any references to use? You'll need to do some research, starting perhaps with biographies of three of the most important medics of the period considered: Hippocrates for the Ancient Greeks; Galen of Rome; Imhotep for Egypt.

In terms, meanwhile, of the Science, it's worth noting that the microscopes that would allow us to see bacteria and viruses weren't invented until about 1700 (for bacteria) and 1930 (for viruses) so that ancient medics had no way of seeing what they were dealing with. You ought to read up on how they tried to explain diseases because of this.

it's meant to be for revision cards we need to complete so only a basic overview is needed but i have found it really hard finding the information
