How would i structure an essay when im arguing the pro's and cons of both sides?

Answers
There are several ways you could do it. First of all, remember to use the essay structure of introductory paragraph, followed by a body paragraph for each point of the discussion, then a concluding paragraph briefly restating the points you have examined and stating your finaly position on the argument.

How you structure your points depends on whether you are arguing for a particular side of the issue, or whether this is an objective discussion of both sides of the argument. If it is the former, then use the essay to state and discuss your view, a point at a time, referring to the opposite argument as you go. Use the conclusion to sum up the discussion and state your final position.

If, however you are objectively discussing both sides, then avoid listing all the arguments for, and then all the arguments against. Examine the for and against of each part of the issue as you go, then follow the directions for the conclusing I have suggested before. Hope that's useful!
