Yes, and it is normal. Everyone get nervous of the exams because they don't know what their instructors will put in the exam. However, if you prepare well, you should be fine.

I have taken hundreds of exams in my time, and I have been nervous before everyone. Just take a couple of deep breaths, do your revision and you'll be fine.

I'm the same! After many exams I still get very nervous... but the more work you do, the more confident you feel and the more you can show off about what you know!

Also, research has shown that having a little bit of nervousness before an exam can motivate you to perform better and remember more (but having a breakdown doesn't help anything...). Just try and keep things on perspective - even if you failed everything, it could lead to new experiences you never thought you would have and you might find a whole new path for yourself. I'm sure you'll be fine!

'gets' , not 'get's' !

I agree with other answers - it's certainly understandable to be nervous and indeed it is good. It 'get's you going' and helps you do your best. Of course if you are really really nervous, you might not be able to perform to the best of your ability - like my daughter for her first maths GCSE module. S he was shaking so much that she couldn't draw a graph properly. I wanted to help her get a bit less nervous, so that she could do herself justice in future exams. One thing that has really helped her is a set of pencils - I got them off Amazon - with the 'keep calm and carry on' message. Yes, these actually do help her! She picks one up and reads the message and takes a deep breath!
