Explain the characteristics of enzymes and (using named examples), the lock and key theory of enzyme action. Include in your answer, an explanation of the role of enzymes in both catabolic and anabolic reactions.

Enzymes are used to alter or speed up reaction,enzymes are proteinous in nature,enymes are not used up in the reaction,catabolism is breaking down of inorganic molecule ingested as food into d body,e.grespiration control by enzymds while anabolism is the building up of inorganic molecule from a simple one's in their enviroment,e.g formation of glucose frm glycogen is by the help of enymes..
