x=4

a=1  b=?  c=7

b=a+b/2

=1+7/2

=8/2

=4

number is  4

1  4  7

There is 3 possible sequences.They are

1,2,3,4,5,6,7 difference is 1

1,3,5,7 difference is 2

1,4,7 difference is 3

The sequence would be 1,4,7.
This is found out by finding the number in the middle of 1 and 7. The difference between 1 and 4 is 7, likewise the difference between 4 and 7 is 3.

Annswer of this question is 4 because the difference of 3 between 1 and 4 and difference of 3 between 4 and 7

The answer is 4 since there will be a difference of 3 between 1 and 4 and a difference of 3 between 4 and 7.

The number is 4 ..

1+3=4

4+3=7

1  4   7  10

The number is 4 as the sequence goes like this 1 4 7 so the difference between each two number is 3.

Hence the number is 4
