tan theta = (sqrt3+1)/(sqrt3-1) = (1+sqrt(1/3))/(1-sqrt(1/3)) =(tan45 +tan30)/((1-tan45)tan30  = tan(45+30) = tan75

tan theta = (sqrt3+1)/(sqrt3-1) = (1+sqrt(1/3))/(1-sqrt(1/3)) =(tan45 +tan30)/((1-tan45)tan30  = tan(45+30) = tan75

Your question isn't specific enough! Remember that all trigonometric functions are periodic so they will repeat but they will have different values for theta! You need to specify the range for you theta for example 0<theta=<360 that way your answer will be not only 75 but also 255. Its very important to know the range otherwise your answer could be completely wrong.

Here we may utilise the trigonometric rule which states 

tanθ = sinθ / cosθ

After this step the problem simplifies.
