This is not an equation, it is an algebraic expression hence it cannot be solved. The only thing you can do is expand the brackets. I believe this is not what you wanted to ask. :-)

It is an algebraic equation, you cannot solve it. the only thing you can do is to expand it.

yes its a algebraic equation it can be expanded if u want

You could simplify it to:x^2/(x^2 - 0.26 x + 0.0168)by expanding the brackets on the denominator, but not much further than that.

Here is solution you needed...... Changes made to your input should not affect the solution:(1): "0.14" was replaced by "(14/100)". 2 more similar replacement(s)Step by step solution :Step 1 : 7
Simplify ββ
50
Equation at the end of step 1 : 212 7
βββ - x) β’ (ββ - x))
100 50
Step 2 :Rewriting the whole as an Equivalent Fraction : 2.1 Subtracting a whole from a fraction Rewrite the whole as a fraction using 50 as the denominator : x x β’ 50
x = β = ββββββ
1 50
Equivalent fraction : The fraction thus generated looks different but has the same value as the whole Common denominator : The equivalent fraction and the other fraction involved in the calculation share the same denominatorAdding fractions that have a common denominator : 2.2 Adding up the two equivalent fractions Add the two equivalent fractions which now have a common denominatorCombine the numerators together, put the sum or difference over the common denominator then reduce to lowest terms if possible: 7 - (x β’ 50) 7 - 50x
ββββββββββββ = βββββββ
50 50
Equation at the end of step 2 : 212 (7 - 50x)
βββ - x) β’ βββββββββ)
100 50
Step 3 : 3
Simplify ββ
25
Equation at the end of step 3 : 23 (7 - 50x)
ββ - x) β’ βββββββββ)
25 50
Step 4 :Rewriting the whole as an Equivalent Fraction : 4.1 Subtracting a whole from a fraction Rewrite the whole as a fraction using 25 as the denominator : x x β’ 25
x = β = ββββββ
1 25
Adding fractions that have a common denominator : 4.2 Adding up the two equivalent fractions 3 - (x β’ 25) 3 - 25x
ββββββββββββ = βββββββ
25 25
Equation at the end of step 4 : (3 - 25x) (7 - 50x)
βββββββββ β’ βββββββββ) (25 50
Step 5 :Equation at the end of step 5 : (3 - 25x) β’ (7 - 50x)
βββββββββββββββββββββ
1250
Step 6 : (3-25x)β’(7-50x)
Divide x2 by βββββββββββββββ
1250Final result : 1250x2
βββββββββββββββββββββ
(3 - 25x) β’ (7 - 50x)

If you don't have the equals sign it is not called an equation, it is called an algebraic expression. The equation has a left side, a right side and the equals sign. Therefore we do not have an equation. We have an algebraic fraction which cannot be simplified (even if you expand the brackets on the denominator)

The only way you could solve this is to set it equal to zero and then expand. x^2/(x^2 - 0.26 x + 0.0168) = 0
