solve.

((x*x)/((0.12-x)(0.14-x)))

Answers
This is not an equation, it is an algebraic expression hence it cannot be solved. The only thing you can do is expand the brackets. I believe this is not what you wanted to ask. :-)

It is an algebraic equation, you cannot solve it. the only thing you can do is to expand it.

You could simplify it to:x^2/(x^2 - 0.26 x + 0.0168)by expanding the brackets on the denominator, but not much further than that.

If you don't have the equals sign it is not called an equation, it is called an algebraic expression. The equation has a left side, a right side and the equals sign. Therefore we do not have an equation. We have an algebraic fraction which cannot be simplified (even if you expand the brackets on the denominator)

The only way you could solve this is to set it equal to zero and then expand. x^2/(x^2 - 0.26 x + 0.0168) = 0
