writing a speech on respect
hello! in english i have to write a speech about the importance of respect with the target audience being 11-13 year olds. could you help by telling me what type of language to use to suit the audience? thank you.

13 i know it should and is easy but i want to make it extremely clear for my teacher to blatently see that i am adressing people of my age as i tend to differ between other ages

Perhaps the main points to bear in mind are to avoid patronizing the audience or to preach at them. You could maybe benefit from tuning in to CBBC and listening carefully to the presenters. (I'm assuming you are UK based?)
