i am doing act 1 scene 5 on Romeo and Juliet and im in desperate need of help. i would be very great full if you can help me answer these questions ( my teacher said it doesn't have to be act 1 scene 5 but can be the whole movie)
1.At what point in the scene does the miid change? how does the contrast between moods add to the dramatic tension 2.is there any conflict between characters? can you link this conflict to any other part in the play. does this conflict foreshadow the tragedy to come 3.look for unanswered questions in the scene. how does shakespeare keep the audience guessing and in what why does the uncertainty create tension 4.look for instances of dramatic irony.how does this add to the dramatic tension 5.discuss the language used by the characters and explain how this adds to the dramatic tension. what imagery does shakespeare create through language 6.how could performance (language, expression, gestures and positioning ) add to the dramatic tension as specific points in this scene (scene 5 act 1)
