Enthusiastic and experienced, I am a first year medical student at Imperial College London. Indeed, I have a lot of experience teaching students. I taught gujarati(GCSE) and maths(GCSE and A-Level) at my local community centre and also have done private tutoring in all three sciences and maths.
I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics up to A2 and did AS Further Maths. I also wrote an EPQ on medical ethics. I studied all of this at Watford Grammar School for Boys. Prior to that I studied at Kingsbury High School where I got 9 A*s and 4 As. Furthermore, I took the BMAT and UKCAT exams and wrote a personal statement in preparation for medical school and thus could help a student in their medical school application.
I have taught children from all walks of life and am able to adapt my teaching style to the learning preferences of each student. Indeed, through my teaching experience I have learned methods of explaining complex ideas in various different ways so as to help one understand it. I also believe that understanding is more important than memorising and will be more beneficial in an exam situation so aim to teach from first principles so that a student can apply what I teach to various scenarios rather than one specific one.
