I'm currently a PhD student, studying Translational Immunology at Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary. I studied Biology at A Level and Biological Sciences at undergrad level. I'm a friendly, interactive tutor who wants to help students achieve those all important grades! However its not all about the grades, I like to make things interesting and even fun (believe it or not) in the hope that students actually start to enjoy learning Biology. I can tailor the lessons around what the student wants, whether it be grasping the basics, explanations of complex concepts or going through exam questions. I try to understand the preferred learning style of all my students so that they are able to remain engaged and learn in a way that suits them.
I have a genuine passion and interest in Biology hence my career choice therefore I hope to pass on this enthusiasm to my students.
I currently work in Whitechapel (E1) and live in West London (W5). I am happy to travel to students within a reasonable distance or meet up in a place suitable for the student.
Please Note: Hourly rates may vary depending on academic level i.e. GCSE/A Level/University. Also very happy to do group sessions at a discounted rate so if you have friends or family you'd like to join you too during the sessions this can be arranged.
