I am a conscientious and hard working person who is committed to do everything possible for each individual to enable them to be successful. I am very patient and have worked with both adults and children of different cultural background. This has increased my knowledge and understanding of difference and diversity in relation to academic abilities and emotional well being. I have an honours degree in Mathematics Education with over 15 years experience in the teaching profession. I have taught students with a wide range of abilities including Special education needs as well as A/S and Advanced Level Mathematics students. I am very passionate about teaching Mathematics and have also taught Numeracy and Science in schools and Further Education Colleges. I strive to challenge and support learners to the best of my ability as well as making my lesson tangible and interesting for the students. I encourage active participation using a full range of techniques to motivate and focus work. I have a relentless energy for setting challenging and achievable targets for my students
