I have a background in English education. I have an A Level in English Language and a degree in Educational Studies with English Studies. I have worked in schools for the past three years. For two of these years I worked as a teaching assistant in a secondary school assisting across the curriculum. For the past year I have been training as a secondary English teacher. I am due to graduate in July of this year and intend to teach KS3 and 4 in my NQT year.
I have always loved teaching and enabling others to learn. I feel everyone is able to progress even when they perhaps struggle with a particular subject. My ability to differentiate for a variety of learners has been praised throughout my training, as well as my ability to form relationships and rapport with those I teach and work with. I am incredibly patient and understanding with all learners and aim to simply help their confidence and understanding increase.
