I am currently employed as a tutor on the Access to Higher Education Diploma programme (Level 3) for Adult Learning Wales, the largest provider of adult education across Wales. I have worked for this organisation for five years, covering the following academic areas:
English - Level 3
Literacy and Communication
Numeracy - Level 2 and 3 and Numeracy for nurses
Sociology - Level 2 and Level 3
History - Level 2 and Level 3
Cultural Studies - Level 3
Media - Level 3
Critical Theory - Level 3
I have 20 years teaching experience in England and Wales covering the above areas plus GCSE and A Level English. My teaching experience covers FE, Sixth Form and Adult Learning. I am a qualified assessor and I have worked with the AQA awarding body as Principal Examiner and Moderator.
I also spent 2 years working alongside the Learning and Skills Council on secondment in relation to a project developing strategy to address socially excluded adults.
