I have a PhD in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Masters in Philosophical Theology from the University of Nottingham and a BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Nottingham.

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa.

I have just completed field research in Vancouver, Canada, where I was exploring the ethical imaginaries of community organisers.

I am currently living in The Hague, Netherlands, where I am going to undertake field research into the ethical cultures of populist voters.

I have approximately 8 years teaching experience and have taught all ages and all abilities. At the highest level, I have tutored PhD and MA students, have lectured at Goldsmiths, University of London, and have led seminars at Kings College London.

I have also taught university-style seminars to the most advanced secondary school students in underpriveleged areas.

In addition, I have a number of years' experience offering private tuition to A Level and IB students.

Finally, I have taught English and Maths to underprivileged students in a pupil referral unit.

In terms of general interests, I'm into political activism, theatre, poetry, surfing and swimming.
