I am currently in my final year of Medicine at Imperial College London and have a BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health. I have over 6 years of teaching experience and have provided teaching sessions to students at various levels, including GCSE, A levels and at university. I have a keen interest in helping students achieve their potential by encouraging learning through a variety of creative methods. I have taught students one-to-one for over 5 years at university via the Imperial College tutoring schemes, and helped them achieve success in exams. I am enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very adaptable to individual learning needs.
I believe good teaching allows the student to learn new and challenging concepts in an efficient and effective manner whilst also allowing them to consolidate what they already know. I have helped many students with a variety of learning needs, from struggling to cope with their workload, finding exams daunting or just needing comprehensive teaching on basic concepts to refine their understanding. Having successfully achieved my A levels in Biology, Maths, Chemistry and Physics in 2012, I am aware of the best learning approaches needed for a student to learn well, and am keen to pass on all the important lessons I've learned along the way.
