About the lesson

I recently graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I am now based in London studying Law ready to take up a training contract with a New York based Law firm in 2020.

I am a patient, enthusiastic and clinical tutor with great experience ensuring students at all levels of education have the tools they need to reach their specific goals.
My approach is simple, to listen carefully to students and their parents to find out where I can be most effective, and what kind of learning style would accelerate progress the fastest.

I use these chats and some preliminary activities to identify where strengths can be turned into real talents that will make the student stand out to markers and admissions officers, and where weaknesses can be turned around.
Without this dual approach, the student will not stretch their legs to the fullest.

I plan each lesson in advance accordingly, and provide informal and written feedback to parents regularly, so that students are fully supported as they progress.

I believe that in all the areas I teach, from admissions to mathematics and essay writing, the most valuable things students gain is a strong sense of confidence in their ability, a thorough understanding of the criteria they need to hit, and a calmness in exam conditions that truly allows them to perform.
