About Lorna
I am a fourth year aerospace engineering student that is enthusiastic and experienced in teaching. During my sixth form years I worked as a tutor helping children improve their Mathematics, English and reasoning skills. In the past term I volunteered teaching year 6 students maths at a primary school in Bristol.
I believe what both student and parent wishes to get out of tutoring should be a main objective and a plan of goals should be set at the start of any tutoring journey along with an assessment and understanding of where a student is currently at.
I believe I am a passionate and caring tutor. I want all children to be given the opportunity of education and believe this passion would drive me to be a great teacher. I am a patient and understanding person and know I have the skills necessary from my previous experience.
I have been DBS checked.
