QTS in May 2017. Spanish native speaker and teacher.
Currently, I am working in other secondary school as a Cover Supervisor. I have also experience in a SEN School asa learning support assistant in Hampshire County. I am working with students in KS3 and KS4, which I support indifferent subjects covering the different lessons.
I have received great feedback from my mentors, referring to: Rapport, pro activity, high standards, organisation, dedication and excellent relationships with pupils as well as staff.
I believe each child has his/her unique requirements. This is why I work to ensure that my plans contain activities that cover all learning styles. My knowledge of Speech and Language therapy has helped me understand the development of language, which I find important in teaching.
My teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and in two different countries, the UK and Spain. To succeed I needed to be flexible, persistent and open minded.
Thanks to these experiences, I have developed my teaching skills as well as enriched my own cultural background. I am curious and open minded, and that is something I would like to pass on to the children I teach.
