About Megan
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and have been delivering tutoring for 11+ entrance exams and Maths GCSE for 3 years with fantastic levels of success. All the children I have taught have found the lessons fun as well as learning a great deal. I can teach those in need of a little extra push, struggling at school or who need the extra tuition for entrance exams to cover topics not covered in schools. I have fantastic knowledge of what is required to pass all local entrance exams. I will also be realistic and honest in letting you know how I think your child is getting on and whether the expectation to pass certain exams is going to be achievable. I feel that it is extremely important to build a rapport and relationship with parents as well as children as it is a huge step for a parent to take on a tutor and it is hard to find the right fit. It is important that we can get along well in order to make the process run smoothly and make sure everyone is happy. I will always do my best in order to provide that service.

I think it is important that in order for children to learn to their full potential they must enjoy their lessons. Once children become bored they begin to switch off so my main priority during lessons is to keep the child engaged. I also understand the importance of tailoring a lesson to a child's specific needs, whether that means a more practical, hands on approach, a repetitive style or trying to find tricks and tips to make information stick.
