About Claire
I qualified as a secondary science teacher back in 2009, at the age of 21, where I then taught science in an outstanding school for 5 years. During my time here I began tutoring after school with just a handful of students.
Due to my husband being in the military we had to move, so in 2014 I moved to the Tidworth area where I worked in a local school for a short time, but the demand for tutoring in this area was crazy and there just wasn't enough time for me to do both jobs! So I decided to pursue tutoring full time and I gave up classroom teaching in schools so that I could work with more students 1:1!
Presently I have worked with 59 students on a 1:1 basis over the last 5 years, I have 3 more students I am due to meet in the next couple of weeks and still signing up more students for the new academic year!
I am always a nervous wreck on results day, but needn't be, as most of my students achieve their target grades or higher after working extremely hard all year, both with me and independently, to do their very best in the exams.
As a tutor I can never guarantee that you'll get an A, it doesn't work that way, (as much as I wish it did!) but I can show you the right way to revise for you (everyone is different!) and find the right way to explain science concepts to you so that our sessions will give you the very best chance at achieving your full potential.

I work 1:1 with students who are wishing to have extra help in their science's for both GCSE and for A level Biology and Psychology students. I have a lot of experience working with a wide range of students and different exam boards. I am a cheerful, friendly tutor and I pride myself on building strong relationships with my students and their families.
Our lessons are always varied and challenging and I am able to adapt to teach/cover any subjects that you wish at the time. That little extra time out of class, where you are free to be honest and ask any questions you like freely, can make a huge different to your confidence in your ability and help you to achieve your very best!

Webcam tuition is £28ph for GCSE and £32ph for A level
Any extra travel further than 20 miles of Tidworth will have an addition charge of £5 per session.
