I was educated at Girton College, Cambridge, where I received a BA in Social Anthropology, followed by MA Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool, and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester. I currently teach social anthropology at University College London (UCL), where I research indigenous peoples and climate change.
I believe learning can be fun, and my tutorial sessions are highly engaging, and enjoyable. Learning should be a personalised journey centred on the learner, encouraging and feeding their interests whilst fulfilling the requirements of the curriculum. This is the way to attain educational excellence and real depth of understanding.
For over ten years I have helped students gain their highest marks in subjects in which they previously struggled, and win places at their first choice universities a a result.
