I am a third year English Literature Student who thoroughly enjoys reading and analysing a variety of different texts, novels and poems. I am a confident, friendly and bubbly individual and would like the opportunity to help students improve their GCSE English Literature grades. I worked for an English Language Summer School for 6 weeks so feel I am an excellent communicator. I am able to use my degree level of study to improve and enhance student's writing skills, sentence structure and analysis. I am happy to tutor students throughout the year for general improvement but also focus on exam technique for other students. Throughout my time at university I have studied a great range of texts from Shakespeare to modern day writers so feel my understanding of different genres will prove very useful. I can adapt my findings and my ideas to encourage students to examine a text from multiple angles, challenging opinions and formulating strong coherent arguments in essays. I also have a range of different grammar exercises to eradicate Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPAG) issues that are silly mistakes but will lose you marks. I am very hard working but also patient.
