About Rachel
I have been a teacher for the past twenty-one years, teaching English Literature 'A' Level, English Language and Literature 'A' Level, Drama and Theatre Studies 'A' Level and GCSE English. I am also an experienced examiner in both 'A' Level Literature and GCSE English. I work for the Open University too, tutoring on a range of Literature and Creative Writing undergraduate courses. I have a degree in English Literature and Language and an MA in Creative Writing. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

I have been an online private tutor for the past five years, tutoring a range of ages and subjects, including KS3, GCSE, 'A' Level and undergraduate level. I am happy to listen to the needs of students and tailor my teaching to individual requirements. I have access to exam boards and am happy to discuss exam questions, go over coursework or essays or discuss individual texts and authors. I am also happy to mark and proof-read work with a view to finding strategies to improve student performance.
