I have always loved teaching, first as a horse riding instructor before following my passion as a KS1 teacher. I taught in Year 1 for three years before taking a sabbatical to work in less developed countries. I have spent the past six months volunteering and working at primary schools in South Africa, teaching environmental education and youth development. I am excited to get back into teaching in the UK, and feel that 1:1 and small group tutoring is most beneficial to help children learn as it means the child or children will get more individualised help, and not be just another face in the classroom. I enjoy horse riding, walking my dogs and travelling. One of my life goals is to teach environmental education and wildlife conservation across the world, teaching the next generation how important it is to protect our natural world.
