I'm currently a chemical engineering student at Imperial College London, and I have been tutoring for over 6 years now with over 3000 hours of experience teaching Maths and Science from GCSE to A-level.
I also teach Matlab and can teach/create statistical models for data sets, such as linear regression models.
I have been tutoring privately for 6 years now. I started to teach AS level Maths and Science when I was in upper sixth and then continued once I started university. I am detail oriented and design my lessons according to the student's needs. I have experience teaching students with specific learning difficulties such as ADHD.
I have been tutoring with Oxbridge Applications and TheProfs and I have also mentored students who were applying to university under the Premier service. I have been a group leader at mock interview and subject-specific taster days, teaching Maths to a class of A-level students.
When it comes to tutoring I always make sure to understand my students and their needs first. By learning about their learning styles, strengths, weaknesses, revision techniques and out of school revision habits I make sure to guide my students both academically but also pedagogically. Over the years I have refined my approach to yield the best results for my students. As a testament to my teaching 90% of my students, this year, received 8's and 9's in their GCSEs and A*'s in their A-level exams.
