I am a fully qualified teacher with many years experience as an educational professional working with babies and young children through to children and young people 16+.

I have mentored adults in community groups and on a one-to-one basis.

I offer support to families who are HOME-SCHOOLING children of any age.

My qualifications began with a Cert. Ed. (specialism - Early Years and lower Primary; plus American Studies / American Literature). I built on this with a BA (Child Development and Psychology), was professionally trained in High / Scope (active learning, child centred / focussed curriculum planning and practice) as a Practitioner and as a Trainer of Teachers. I am a qualified and experienced Forest School Leader.

I have worked for local authorities as well as independent educational and community based organisations.

I have taught reluctant learners, 10 - 16+, in a range of subjects including English, Art, Geography, History, PSE, Citizenship and Religious Studies; and successfully to GCSE - English and Geography.

I have experience as a parent with home-schooling.

My life experiences include the creative arts and walking, including trekking.
