Hi there!
I'm currently a first year History undergraduate at Magdalen College, Oxford. My educational history includes straight A* at GCSE and straight A's at A-level in my subjects. I have been tutoring in person for two years to family and friends up to GCSE level and am capable of providing tuition for any subject except from languages up to Key Stage 3, most subjects except from non-classical languages and sciences up to GCSE and both Latin and History at A-level. I try to remain as receptive to the pupil as possible and tailor tuition to an interactive approach which suits the student, whether it be a guided answer approach or progressive questioning towards the student to fully explain a concept. Regardless, a focus on a full understanding of the knowledge in question remains of primary importance.
Having been a rather restless (and often,admittedly difficult) student to teach, I appreciate the necessity of mutual respect to be crucial to the student-teacher relationship and thus try to cater tuition to each pupil with a focus on earning their attention.
