I was educated at Twyford Church of England High School, where I received four As at GCSE, and an additional A at A Level. I then went on to study History at the University of Warwick. I enjoyed studying a wide range of areas and topics, from culture in India, to politics in China, to gender in Latin America. I completed my dissertation on the Bombay Riots in 2017, and graduated with upper second class honours. I continue to have a passion for history, and an endless thirst to expand my knowledge.
I have been working as a teaching assistant for three years, working with both mainstream pupils and students with special educational needs- covering a wide range of ages and teaching styles. I plan to train as a secondary school history teacher in the near future.
Above all I value empathy, patience, and taking a varied approach to suit individual needs. I have a passion for sharing and passing down my knowledge and I seek to bring that to every one of my students.
I enjoy writing and performing music in my spare time as a multi-instrumentalist. I have also invented and built several new musical instruments myself. I also enjoy creative writing, and during my studies I was active in my University's theatre scene as an actor and director.
I teach history from Primary to Undergraduate Level, including students with special educational needs
