About Eleanor
Hi, I'm Eleanor, I am a first year BSc Biology student at the University of Nottingham. I love learning and motivating and helping others to excel. I am an enthusiastic and passionate tutor, with experience in primary, GCSE and A-Level tutoring in mathematics, science and geography. I am available to tutor within the Nottingham area or online via this platform. I achieved A*AA in my A-Level in the past summer, so I understand the difficulties you can experience during this stressful time and have many tips to alleviate this. I began my tutoring journey by supporting revision sessions in a year 6 class for the SAT exams, in maths and science. I have experience with the new GCSE curriculum and have many hours tutoring GCSE triple and dual science, maths and geography. I am also open to tutoring Biology, Chemistry and Geography A-Levels, which I took this past summer. I look forward to hearing and working with you!

I approach topics by breaking them down into bitesize chunks and combining worksheets, videos and exam practice to consolidate understanding. I think it is really important to have a healthy work to social life balance and to promote this from a young age. Therefore, I focus on effective work to alleviate stress and save time.
