I am a very experienced teacher of French up to A level and have taught in secondary schools in the UK and France. I have also been a teacher of Spanish for many years to GCSE level.
I particularly enjoy teaching French ab initio in quite accelerated programmes of study. I really enjoy helping learners to gain confidence in using their new language and giving them the building bricks of language which will help them notice patterns and build sentences very quickly.
I really enjoy passing on my expertise to my learners. I have built up resources for teaching all of the GCSE topics in the French GCSE programme of study and have written translation resources for French for the new MFL GCSE.
I have experience in motivating and helping youngsters who need an extra boost with their French.
I have been a GCSE French examiner and have taught Business French and Business Spanish.
I also really enjoy teaching English as a foreign language, and I have a CELTA qualification and many years’ experience of teaching British English.
