I am a motivated and personable English Teacher and seek to support each of my students in fulfilling their potential. I have experience teaching from KS3-5 both in the UK and internationally.

About Jack
I am an experienced teacher with a breadth of experience working with students both in the UK and internationally.
I completed my PGCE (English) through the Teach First Leadership Development programme in 2016 and received an award of ‘outstanding’ for my practice. While completing my training I worked in South Yorkshire and it was during this time that I began to understand how all students can succeed with the right support. After working in the UK, I made the decision to teach abroad. I taught at two outstanding international schools in the Middle East and Asia during this time. I have since returned to the UK to work as a tutor and work with students on a one-to-one basis.
I enjoy tutoring as it enables me to guide individual students in their learning and I find watching the progress they make to be extremely rewarding.

As a tutor, I aim to support my students in making excellent progress by personalising my lessons to their individual needs and providing students with effective feedback.
This approach has been shaped by my own teaching experiences and a belief that every student should have access to the very best education. I am also open to receiving feedback from my students and if they wish to change anything about the way lessons are delivered, I am more than happy to adapt my practice to meet their needs.
