A qualified Creative Media Lecturer with a love for words, publishing and all things education!
I studied English & Journalism (BA) at the University of the West of England in 2014, the following year I completed my PGCE PCET (Post-compulsory Education and Training), with a further 2 years teaching both BTEC and UAL specifications at City of Bath College. I had extensive experience of assisting students with University applications and personal statement writing whilst in this position.
In 2011 I spent the summer teaching English as a second language in Thailand. I studied English Language & Literature A- level and am currently undertaking a diploma in Professional Marketing.
The past 8 years I have been a supervisor/manager at a children's activities camp, aimed at children aged 5-13 and am really keen to tutor students at this age too.
I have just spent the past 4 months teaching aboriginal children at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in Sydney and am a personal tutor for the Child Protection Service in Broome, WA.
I will work with you on a personal 1:1 basis and work towards goals that we set together - friendly, patient and experienced teaching a variety of ages and subject areas.
