I am a Lecturer in Psychology, with a PhD from the University of Liverpool. I have a first class degree in Psychology and an MSc (with distinction) in Research Methods in Psychology.
Over 6 years at the University of Liverpool has given me an advanced understanding of statistics, essay writing and practical report writing and I am happy to assist Undergraduate or Postgraduate students in developing their own skills in these areas.
I have teaching experience running drop-in statistics clinics for undergraduates in the University, supervising students for final year projects and running seminars related to my subject area. I have also been employed as a part-time Support Worker and Note Taker.
I have experience marking both essays and exams in a variety of areas within Psychology.
The way I teach depends on the student, but I take a calm, open and supportive approach to help each student achieve their full academic potential.
I can cover key areas in Psychology, revision, statistics, essay writing and practical report writing.
