This is my fourth year working in education. The first three years I was working in Key Stage 1 Special Educational Needs and this current year I am working in Key Stage 2 Mainstream. I am currently studying a work based foundation degree at university with the intention to qualify as a teacher within the next two years. I completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care and achieved triple Distinction* in this course.
During my own education at primary and secondary school I was passionate about English Language and Literature, Health and Social Care and Sociology. In my spare time currently I write and read a lot to maintain my skills but I also complete a range of assignments for my university course. I am keen to teach both primary and secondary to extend my skills.
I am always efficient and adaptable depending on needs. Working in SEN developed my patience, adaptability, empathy and communication. Working in mainstream has further supported my ability to multi-task, communicate and has expanded my knowledge of the primary curriculum.
I want to tutor to help students to reach their full potential through a range of methods and to further my own teaching skills.
