Having been awarded undergraduate history degree at UCL and Paris-Sorbonne, and master’s degree in Classics at Cambridge University, I am currently completing PhD in Ancient History and Classics at St Andrews University.
What is the most important for me is that every single one of my students will find not only necessary support and expertise in my tutorials, but also inspiration and motivation for personal development. I am determined to work out the most suitable and efficient way for my pupils to learn, while nourishing their curiosity.
I have been tutoring and mentoring for the past three years and have worked with over 15 personal teenage pupils, dozens of secondary school students taught in class, and a number of university students. I have had students ranging in age from 5 to 40 years old and always tailor my courses according to my pupils’ needs and abilities. I taught full-time in China for two months and part-time in Poland, France and the UK. I have mentored over 15 secondary school students applying to the most selective universities in the UK, including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, SOAS, Edinburgh and St Andrews.
My areas of expertise include western history up to university level and ancient history up to postgraduate level, all levels of English, including Business and Academic English, Latin up to intermediate level, essay writing and critical thinking skills, university applications and studying techniques.
